Video Game Music Camp 2025
Unlock your creativity at our Video Game Music Camp July 7-18, 2025! This immersive program is designed for aspiring musicians, composers and sound designers who want to explore the dynamic world of video game music.
Over two weeks, participants will engage in hands-on workshops led by industry professionals, covering essential topics such as composition techniques, sound design, improvisation and the integration of music with gameplay. And, of course, there will be some video game play!
Location: The Davis Academy of Music

Time: July 7-18th | 9a - 4p
Ages: 6+
Sample Summer Camp Schedule
Specific activities will vary depending on the age group and day of the week.
9:00 am – Student Drop-Off
9:00-9:30 – Warm-up activity, team building games, icebreakers
9:30-10:30 – Rehearsal block #1. Students will learn improvisation, songwriting, singing, chording, and ensemble technique skills.
10:30-11:00 – Break time. Weather dependent, this could look like visiting the playground across the street at Easterly Parkway Elementary School.
11:00-11:30 – Lunch time. Students are to bring a packed lunch every day to camp.
11:30-12:00 – Skill building. Students will take part in an activity to learn more about a specific musical skill such as improvising, chording, singing, lyric writing, etc.
12:00-1:30 – Rehearsal block #2.
1:30-2:00 – Break time. This could look like an arts & crafts project relevant to the production.
2:00-3:30 – Rehearsal block #3.
3:30-4:00 – Cool down activity.
4:00– Student Pick-Up
